Multi-Vendor E-Commerce Marketplace
These Vendor Terms govern selling on the Snapbaaz multi-vendor marketplace platform.
1. Applicable Laws & Compliance
Vendors must comply with applicable Indian laws including:
- Information Technology Act, 2000
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- GST Act, 2017
- Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Companies Act (where applicable)
- MSME Act (where applicable)
2. Vendor Eligibility & Registration
To sell on Snapbaaz, vendors must provide:
- PAN card
- Valid bank account details
- GST registration (if applicable) OR MSME (Udyam) registration
- Business address
Snapbaaz reserves the right to verify documents before approval.
3. Independent Vendor Relationship
Vendors are independent sellers.
Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture relationship between Snapbaaz and the vendor.
4. GST & MSME Compliance
- GST registration is mandatory if turnover exceeds the legal threshold.
- MSME registration is encouraged where applicable.
- Snapbaaz may deduct TCS as per GST regulations.
- Vendors are solely responsible for tax filing and statutory compliance.
5. Product Listing Requirements
Vendors must ensure:
- Accurate product descriptions
- Genuine and lawful products
- Proper pricing compliance
- No counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited items
Violation may result in suspension or permanent removal.
6. Order Fulfillment
Vendors must:
- Dispatch orders within the committed timeline
- Use proper packaging
- Provide valid tracking details
Vendor is liable for product damage prior to successful delivery.
7. Commission Structure
Current Commission:
7% flat commission across all categories (no hidden charges).
Future Commission:
- Electronics: 5–10%
- Fashion & Apparel: 10–15%
- Home & Kitchen: 8–12%
- Beauty & Personal Care: 12–18%
- Groceries & FMCG: 5–8%
- Other Categories: 15–25%
Snapbaaz reserves the right to revise commission with prior notice.
8. Payment Settlement
Settlement Timeline: Every monday after successful delivery (+4 every month).
Payments will be transferred to the vendor’s registered bank account.
Vendor Coupons:
If vendors create promotional coupons, 100% of the discount cost is borne by the vendor. Snapbaaz does not share coupon discount costs unless agreed separately.
9. Returns, Refunds & Vendor Liability
- Vendors must accept valid returns as per Snapbaaz Return Policy.
- Refund amount will be deducted from vendor settlement.
- Vendor bears 75% of return shipping cost (unless due to Snapbaaz error).
High return rates may result in penalties or suspension.
10. Anti-Fraud & Prohibited Activities
Strictly prohibited:
- Fake orders
- Self-purchases
- Refund manipulation
- Coupon abuse
- Hacking or system abuse
- Selling counterfeit products
Violations may result in:
- Payment withholding
- Account suspension
- Legal action
11. Intellectual Property
Vendors grant Snapbaaz a non-exclusive license to use product images, descriptions, and brand materials for marketing and platform promotion.
Vendors guarantee that listed products do not infringe intellectual property rights.
12. Suspension & Termination
Snapbaaz may suspend or terminate vendor accounts in cases of:
- Policy violations
- Fraudulent activity
- Tax non-compliance
- High return ratios
- Poor product quality or customer complaints
13. Vendor Indemnification
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold Snapbaaz harmless against:
- Consumer disputes
- Tax liabilities
- Intellectual property claims
- Regulatory penalties
- Legal claims arising from vendor products or actions
